1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using SoloBid, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the service. These terms apply to all users of the platform, including visitors, registered users, and subscribers.

2. Description of Service

SoloBid is a software-as-a-service (SaaS) estimating and invoicing platform designed for contractors. The service allows you to create quotes, send invoices, collect electronic signatures, and accept payments from your customers. We provide the tools — you run your business.

3. Account Registration

To use SoloBid, you must create an account. You must be at least 18 years old to register. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Please notify us immediately if you suspect any unauthorized use of your account.

4. Subscription and Billing

SoloBid offers a 14-day free trial. No credit card is required to start your trial. After the trial period, you may choose a monthly or annual subscription plan to continue using the service.

Subscriptions auto-renew at the end of each billing period unless you cancel. You can manage your subscription and cancel at any time through the Stripe customer portal accessible from your account settings.

We do not provide refunds for partial billing periods. If you cancel mid-cycle, you will retain access to the service until the end of your current billing period.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
  • Abuse, harass, or send unsolicited communications through the platform
  • Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the service
  • Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the service
  • Access the service through automated means (bots, scrapers) without our written permission

6. Intellectual Property

SoloBid and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by SoloBid and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. The SoloBid name, logo, and branding are our trademarks and may not be used without our written permission.

7. User Data

You retain full ownership of the data you create and store in SoloBid, including quotes, invoices, customer information, and business data. We do not claim any ownership rights over your content. We store and process your data solely to provide the service to you.

8. Third-Party Services

SoloBid integrates with third-party services to provide its functionality:

  • Stripe — for payment processing and subscription billing
  • Supabase — for data storage and authentication
  • Resend — for email delivery
  • Twilio — for SMS delivery

Your use of these third-party services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the practices of third-party service providers.

9. Limitation of Liability

SoloBid is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, SoloBid shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or business opportunities, arising from your use of or inability to use the service. Our total liability to you for any claims arising from the service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms or engage in activity that is harmful to the service or other users. You may cancel your account at any time through your account settings. Upon termination, your right to use the service ceases immediately, though we may retain your data for a reasonable period to allow you to export it.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. When we make changes, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Your continued use of SoloBid after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms. We encourage you to review these terms periodically.
